Ted Cruz Sends Ilhan Omar Spinning – He Accuses The Squad Member Of Acting Like The Press Secretary For Hamas

Over the last week, tensions have been heating up in the Middle East.

Funny, just a few months without Donald Trump’s leadership and things all over the world are falling apart!

Gaza and Israel have been exchanging hundreds of missiles—leading to destruction and casualties.

Some in our own government have taken sides. And while it would make sense for American leaders to back Israel—our actual ally—guess who the “squad’s” Ilhan Omar is supporting?

Naturally, this anti-Israel Democrat is defending Palestine and painted Israel as the bad guys.

So, Ted Cruz took her to task.

Cruz hit back at Omar for comparing Israel to the terrorists against which Israel was defending itself.

“Why is a Member of Congress acting as the press secretary for Hamas? Does Biden agree?” Cruz tweeted.

If you follow the timeline of events, it was Palestine who began the rocket attacks. They fired over 300 into Israel’s land.

Israel’s military responded, in order to defend their people. Any American leader should see that obvious fact, and stand with our ally.

Israel is the only Jewish state in the world and the only true democracy in the Middle East. More than that, we have been its ally for decades.

Yet Omar immediately trashes our ally and defends a group who started the conflict.

Ted Cruz called out this Democrat, branding her a “press secretary for Hamas”?

He’s not that far from the truth. Omar quickly attacked Israel and dismissed Palestine’s attacks as “defense.”

It seems the Democrat is claiming that defending a violent organization is somehow a matter of “equality.” That America must “defend” both our ally and a false state that wants them gone.

She conveniently ignores the fact that Palestine frequently refuses opportunities for peace with Israel. Nor does she acknowledge that Palestine attacked during a special celebration in Jerusalem—almost as if they wanted higher casualties.

Does Omar serve the will of the American people or a foreign entity? If she can’t stand with our ally, maybe she should keep her mouth shut?

Instead, it seems like she wants our country to abandon Israel in favor of countries that attack them.
