Tim Tebow was an NFL star loved by the fans and hated by the woke left.

The league couldn’t argue with his skills on the field, even as secular leftists complained about his outspoken faith.

Tebow often used his success to spread his views on God, endearing him to millions.

Since leaving the NFL, Tebow has remained a public figure. He played baseball, participated in numerous charities, and continued to spread his faith.

Now, he’s made major football news—that really has the left foaming at the mouth.

Tim Tebow is coming back to the NFL. After a six-year hiatus, the Jaguars plan to sign the former NFL quarterback to a one-year deal, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones confirmed. As previously reported, Tebow will play tight end for the Jaguars.

Tim Tebow, after a 6-year hiatus, will be returning to the NFL as a tight end for the Jaguars.

Fans all over the country will be celebrating the news. But the woke left has a different take on it.

Almost immediately they began to complain that their leftist hero, Anthem protest starter Colin Kaepernick, has not been able to return to the NFL.

Liberals seem to be suggesting Tebow got a second chance, because he was white. To them, it had nothing to do with his skills, popularity, and ability to inspire and motivate his team.

For the left, politics and race are everything. Even in an extremely competitive field like professional sports, your views matter more than their ability to play.

And because Kaepernick was a “woke” hero, he deserves to come back more than Tebow.

What these leftists refuse to remember was that the league did give Kaepernick a chance to meet with coaches and trainers a few years ago. Instead, the man turned the opportunity into a publicity stunt, refusing to show up at the location they agreed upon.

Maybe Kaepernick isn’t really interested in play the game or being a team player? And Tebow, who might not be able to QB anymore, still has something to help the team.

I think it’s called character.
