Yaron Cherny joined Pluristem in 2021 and serves as VP Business Development. Mr. Cherny is a business development professional with over 15 years of experience in the life science field, specializing in identifying new opportunities. Before joining Pluristem, Mr. Cherny headed ShizimXL – ICB, an Israeli Chinese Innovation Center investing in Israeli medical device companies. Previous positions also include heading the Pharma Business Development of Teva Israel, the Israeli subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceutical Ltd., specializing in in-licensing of innovative products, and leading the Business Development of Kamada Ltd., in which he was responsible for Kamada’s out-licensing deals with multinational pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Cherny holds an LLM and BA in Finance from IDC Herzliya in Israel.
