Not sure what your situation is, but in some cases brokers will require "settled funds" for penny stock purchases while allowing you to use "unsettled" funds for stocks like AAPL.

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
