Covid vaccine incentives make U.S. look ‘like a nation of sulky adolescents,’ doctor says

A recent survey from UCLA showed that roughly one-third of unvaccinated people said a $100 cash payment would make them more likely to get a shot.



And even more likely if it were $1000, or $10,000? Of course if they were "likely" to be excluded from social events (inc restaurants) then the "sulky adolescents" would really jump the curb, complaining how their rights were being violated. Currently 55% of the population would approve of a vaccine passport for social events.

How about a negative financial incentive? For those unvaccinated, the health insurers get to charge higher premiums. That way the unvaccinated get to pay for their own.
