Is there a conversion matrix for terms used by someone overseas, to describe various aspects of stock information, for use here on iHub, in the US of A?

For instance:

Offer, is the same as ...
I've never heard the phrase, "Slap that Offer".


Shares in Issue, is the same as ...
I've never seen anyone refer to "Shares in Issue", in a post.
