I agree.

I picture the entire billing and invoicing to be nothing more than a f-ucked up simplistic, elementary procedure type operation.

No one really knows what's been invoiced, what's been received, outstanding, past due, etc.

A note pad ledger with everyone's chicken scratching from Gary to the janitor.
