A better question is why would BRTX leave a multi-billion dollar protocol up to an independent testing facility?

How can they be sure that there is no contamination or worse, theft of technology?

My understanding is that the FDA has to be involved in the oversight which only makes sense. Outside agencies often do their own testing for efficacy, however, the approval arm, the government, the FDA has to be the guiding hand.

It is a given that the distribution and administration of the product (Phase 3) will be done at hospitals around the country that are approved to administer the therapy properly but that does not constitute a facility of the sort that BRTX is planning on building. The actual testing in the patients themselves is a different beast entirely.

This is a very good therapy and if done right, will reward the world and in turn, those investors that believe that the company is in good hands. I believe the later.
