polartec had been in bankruptcy..they were bought by a venture capitalist who specialized in rehabbing broken companies...he moved the company out of state to get rid of all the previous workers and their unions and pensions...

he slowly rebuilt the company...he then put it up for sale...thats when the polartec / kblb news came out...the VC wanted to paint as pretty a picture as he could of polartec so, imo, he forced kim to pr their relationship to get as high a price as possible...

if the VC had not insisted, i suspect we STILL wouldnt know of the polartec relationship...

and yea, polartec got bought by Milliken...but polartec was private as is Milliken...so the terms were never released...

and ever since Milliken bought polartec, nothing has been heard from either one of them...
