gfp: My wife's Mom is passed away. As are all her aunts and uncles on that side of her family. Depression era generation. All info has been lost. We just have to be vigilant in the here and now. If her "blasts" continue to rise there is a medication that can be started. And Epogen to raise her red blood cell count if it gets too low. Here platelets are in the low normal range so far. She will have quarterly CBC with Differential drawn and we'll go from there. Her Doctor is very sharp, very dedicated.
