Sounds like you are doing your homework and devising a good plan......Then it's a matter of putting it all together and execution... Sometimes things boil down to a matter of seconds...NASA is full of things that takes tons of planning and then a short window to accomplish the goal...Amazing that they pull it off more often than not...
I think we all yearn to use our full potential, see what we are capable of, be more than what society allows....
Mine was BASE Jumping,,,,Many a weekend plan was a specific object to go to, have a ground crew and a getaway plan if needed, take in the current conditions, the object height, delay times, look at the landing area and see if there are any 'outs' in case something goes wrong, Then put it all together and execute....Many a jump was less than 4 sec delay followed by a canopy ride of about the same...Seconds matter :)
No matter the objective its satisfying when a plan comes together......
