Given Benoit Laliberte, UAMA CEO was convicted on 44 counts of stock fraud, market manipulation and deceiving investors in Canada. Has he legally taken up residence in Florida as suggested in some publicly filed documents. Does he have a "green cards" or other visa according him the privilege of US residence or has he simply overstayed tourism access which allows most Canadians to stay in the US for slightly less than 1/2 year?
Given Mr. Laliberte's record it would not be surprising to find out that he is not a legal resident and faces deportation.
