Indeed it will have a positive effect. And if the company puts out a press release stating their intent to become "Pink Current" Status, the stock price will quadruple in a day. It is evident that Smart Money knows this when looking at the size of the bid trying to collect shares while their still cheap. The company's business success depends on good public opinion so screwing shareholders would not bold well or make sense. Therefore, expect "Pink Current" Status!
