The Final Say regarding KBLB...

(And it is A LOT to say, but, it needs to be said)

So, I will say for the last time:

Go by what the company says, not by what outsiders are saying based on their individual interpretations.

Hindsight is being used to paint a negative picture about the company not living up to what it has said it was going to do. I have decided to do the deep dive of all deep dives into KBLB and what I find paints an entirely different picture when one actually follows the path of a company from the developmental through to Commercial Production stages...have a look-see:

This is what is being said and trumpeted widely about KBLB...

HISTORY OF KBLB CLAIMING "PRODUCTION" (UPDATED)

KBLB has (falsely) stated that they have been in production for over 8 years. In reality, they haven't produced more than a few pounds of spidersilk (at most).

The following are actual titles of KBLB PRs over the past 7 years that all state that commercial production was "just around the corner" (yet we are all still waiting):

I have included my responses based on what the company is actually saying...

Jan 22, 2013 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories to Launch Monster Silk Pilot Production Program

The word “pilot” should have been the first indicator of something forward-looking. In doing DD to confirm what is going on here, this is what one will find…

LANSING, Mich., Jan. 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB:KBLB) (the “Company” or “Kraig”) announced today that it plans on launching its pilot production program for Monster Silk™, the Company’s recombinant spider silk, in the first or second quarter of 2013.

The program is designed to transition Kraig from laboratory scale production to commercial. scale production of Monster Silk™. The Company anticipates launching the pilot program within the next sixty to ninety days. The initial goals for the pilot production program are to confirm production scalability and cost structures for Monster Silk™, as well as to satisfy the demand for larger scale Monster Silk™ sample requests from textile producers and product developers.

That’s the entire PR! They “planned” to “launch” a “pilot” production program. “Anticipated” launching within “60-90 days.” With “initial goals” being to “confirm production “scalability and cost structures…as well as to satisfy demand for larger scale “sample requests…”

IN FACT…the “Cautionary Statement Regarding Forward Looking Information” disclaimer was longer than the actual information provided for the basis of the PR!!! Lol

So, investors should have shown caution with the forward-lookingness going on here. Share price at the time of PR was .06. After PR it went to .07.

Jul 15, 2013 - Kraig to Launch Commercial Production of Monster Silk

SP July 12-.07
SP July 15-.10
SP July 16-.09 and never eclipsed this until August 2, 2016 when it reached .10 for one day. The next day it went back down to .07 then trended back down from there. In that 3 years in between, the stock hovered between .03-.06. The three years after, it hovered mostly around .06 OR LESS!

Until April 17, 2019-Hit .12 after sitting at .06 the day before, the near-average SP for the stock over the course of that 3 years.

Oct 7, 2013 - Kraig Launches Commercial Production of Monster Silk

This is the best PR to explain where KBLB was regarding “production” at the time. Let’s take a look:

LANSING, Mich., Oct 07, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) — Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB:KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of advanced spider silk based fibers, today announced the launching of the Company’s commercial production program with the recent hatching of its first batch of Monster Silk(TM) silkworms for commercial production.

Furthermore, the Company is currently expending resources to augment the scale of its Monster Silkworm(TM) production over the next 30 to 90 days. This move coincides with the Company’s planned strategy to rapidly increase its production capacity. The Company’s strategy is to commit the vast majority of its initial production capacity to a propagation program designed to increase its production population. A smaller portion of the first commercial production generation should also yield fibers which can be dedicated to the production of woven textile samples.

“Our launch of our commercial scale production of Monster Silk(TM) is a long awaited major milestone for Kraig, as we demonstrate our ability to convert recombinant spider silk, and Monster Silk(TM) most specifically, from an exciting laboratory technology to a marketable product,” said, CEO and founder, Kim K. Thompson. “We believe that rolling out the world’s first recombinant spider silk commercial production project will only expand our global development prospects, for Monster Silk(TM) and other high technology fibers.”

“It has taken many years to go from my initial concept of recombinant spider silk to the laboratory production of Monster Silk(TM) and now the actual launch and scaling up of the commercial scale production. I want to thank our investors and, most particularly, the research scientists, whose work and dedication has made this long anticipated day possible.”
“Given the current planned production schedule, we could theoretically be producing Monster Silk(TM) in metric ton quantities by early January. A more conservative estimate, given the realities of launching such a ground breaking and commercially unique project, would be to reach that major milestone in mid 2014. This move reaffirms our view that Kraig is the world’s leading developer of recombinant spider silk technologies,” concluded Thompson.

A LOT of forward-looking stuff in there. Not to mention, “hatching,” “first batch,” “silkworms,” “propagation program,” which was “DESIGNED TO INCREASE ITS PRODUCTION POPULATION!” Let’s think about that for a sec… "Production POPULATION!” What does population tell us? It’s not a finished product, I can tell you that much!

Anyway, the CEO goes on to state verbatim…

“Given the current planned production schedule, we could theoretically be producing Monster Silk(TM) in metric ton quantities by early January. A more conservative estimate, given the realities of launching such a ground breaking and commercially unique project, would be to reach that major milestone in mid 2014.”

In other words, investors follow along to see how they progress.

What did the stock market show during this time…

With a volume of over 5 Million shares traded (the highest-volume traded day for KBLB over the next two years) it remained at .06 and trended down from there. Wonder why that was? IMO, the market overall understood the need to wait on the company to develop.

Mar 20, 2014 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories’ Spider Silk is on Track for Large Scale Production

The scientific evaluation team reported that the ramp up program is on track for large scale production of Monster Silk™. The team’s report also included specific recommendations for accelerating commercial scale production and for completing the transition from pilot production to commercial scale production.

“The scientific evaluation team’s findings reinforce our belief that this important program is working and warrants that we commit additional resources to our scale up of Monster Silk™ production. This evaluation encourages us that we are on the right track to achieve our goal of large scale production. More importantly, the team found areas where we can improve our production efficiency in order to reach that goal. We have already started to put these plans in place to strengthen the Monster Silk™ production program,” said Company Founder and CEO, Kim K. Thompson.

The goal of this program is to produce Monster Silk™ in metric ton quantities.

Market reaction? Stock sat at .03 and finished at .03 on a little over 1M shares traded. It remained at .03 for quite some time going as high as .05 for a few days and trending lower to .02 for a while until it hit .04 nearly 2 ½ years later and sparked to .08 (July 29, 2016) on over 10M trading volume. The following Monday, August 1, 2016 it saw trading volume of over 20M and hit .10 before trending back down again into its normal range of .04-.06 for the NEXT THREE YEARS!!!
Until the Polartec Announcement on April 17, 2019.

May 29, 2014 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories’ Spider Silk Production Poised to Double

The Company previously reported that its pilot production program’s viable silk cocoon yield rate was at approximately 30%, in late 2013. By March, after launching the commercial production ramp up program, the yields increased to approximately 70%; more than double the output efficiency from the pilot phase. The latest report is that with the increased scale of operations in May, the high yields appear to be holding, and possibly improving even further.

The Company believes that the high yield is a result of a combination of improved production procedures and adaptability. The Company is ordering a further doubling of production in June.

“We always believed that our scientific model would translate very well into real world environments, but to actually see our silkworms perform at this level is inspiring. The technology is now outperforming the infrastructural capacities, which bodes well for future product, and production, expansion,” said Company Founder and CEO, Kim K. Thompson.
“The fact that the reported yield rates are holding, or improving, has given us the confidence to authorize a doubling of the scale of production. We anticipate this next larger production run will launch in June. We are excited and encouraged to see that our systems are holding up well as we increase the scale of Monster Silk™ production, and we are working with third parties to strengthen the infrastructure to support the increased production,” Thompson concluded.

Market reaction? CRICKETS!!!! .06-.06 And remained there for…YEARS!!! (As discussed above!)

Jul 9, 2014 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories’ Succeeds In Doubling Its Production Of Monster Silk

By now one would have to understand what Kraig’s “Production Program” is. It has been lined out in detail for a while up to this point. The market reacted accordingly as the stock still remained in the .06 range. Hmm? I think the market gets it.

May 16, 2016 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. To Establish Additional Production Operations For Spider Silk

The stock was at .02 on this day and remained at .02 on this news as it was evident in the PR that nothing major was going on. Market maintained that level for months.

Oct 11, 2016 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories’ New Spider Silk Production Facility Reaches Peak Capacity Ahead Of Schedule

At .05 and remained there. Why? Because the market waited per KBLB’s CEO…

The Company is now conducting a complete assessment of the production facility’s throughput to prepare for the delivery of Dragon SilkTM to industry customers following the Company’s completion of the first phase of its US Army contract.

Dec 19, 2016 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Completes First Phase Of Dragon Silk Fiber Production For Its Military Contract

ANN ARBOR, Mich., -December 19, 2016- Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, today announced that it completed the first batch of Dragon Silk™ cocoon production for its recently reported military contract. The fibers will soon be headed to a reeling facility to be prepared for delivery to Warwick Mills.

In the PR it EXPRESSLY STATES… "COMPLETED THE FIRST BATCH OF DRAGON SILK™ COCOON PRODUCTION..”

The market’s reaction…Opened at .06 and closed at….05!!!
Obviously the market understands what “production” means by now.

Apr 17, 2017 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Expands Domestic Spider Silk Production Capacity

“the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announced today that it is expanding domestic recombinant spider silk production capacity with the purchase and installation of a new commercial scale cocoon processing machine.”

Then goes on to tell us where they are in the process of delivering shoot packs to the Army…

Over the next month the Company plans to supply the Army with sample single filament Dragon Silk fibers for independent testing and to have the first batch of finished Dragon Silk thread ready for knitting into Ballistic shootpacks. The Company anticipates completing the additional silk necessary for producing the woven shootpacks for the US Army in the third quarter. This newly installed equipment is expected to play an important role in meeting this new timeline.

Market reaction? Wait and see…opened at .07 and closed at…..07. Market seems to understand what’s going on here.

Apr 11, 2018 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories’ New R&D Facility Extends Its Competitive Advantages and Prepares for Large Scale Production

Again, the company was far from misleading, as in the subtitle emphasized in bold text was this: “New larger Hybrid Cocoons provide production excitement”

They go on to further explain what they were doing…

ANN ARBOR, Mich., – April 11, 2018 – Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announces follow up to its recently introduced new Hybrid Spider Silk Silkworm Cocoons, which were produced at the Company’s new research and development facility.

Development for the new hybrid was completed in-house, at Kraig Labs R&D facility using its Dragon Silk colony silkworms and a commercial mundane silkworm strain, which resulted in an estimated 100% increase in cocoon weight, compared to the cocoons that the Company was producing just four months ago in Indiana.

The Company understood that silkworms have been producing mundane silk for thousands of years and, that by employing the existing sericulture infrastructure, as well as expertise and traditions, it can cost effectively scale-up its transgenic spider silk silkworm production. According to Kraig Labs’ data, the Company should be able to commercialize some of the toughest natural fibers for almost the same cost as normal every day silk.

Still speaking in forward-looking tones!!!

How did the market react? Opened at .03 and closed at .03. Extending a trend that had been seen by KBLB investors for most of the year as it traded between .03-.06. It would go on to trade in the .03-07 range until the Polartec announcement on April 17, 2019.

Jul 3, 2018 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Management Travels to Vietnam to Oversee the Opening of Its Spider Silk Production Subsidiary, Prodigy Textiles

You mean, less than 3 months after gaining Vietnam’s approval:

April 24, 2018, KBLB registered Prodigy Textiles in Vietnam…

"The Company is happy to announce it has received, from Vietnam, its official investment registration certificate for the new subsidiary. The establishment of the Company’s first subsidiary is seen by management as a major milestone toward its long term goal of establishing large scale spider silk production."

And working with the locals to establish their inputs…

ANN ARBOR, Mich., – June 26, 2018 – Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers announces today that the Company’s representatives in Quang Nam province, Vietnam are working, in collaboration with a local cooperative, to expand mulberry production. This effort is a major element of the Company’s production expansion plans and marks a significant increase in capacity.

Mr. Rice announces what the intent was…

“I am excited to see the new facility first hand and to review the progress getting the building ready to receive our hybrid silkworms,” said Rice. “Our consultants on the ground have been doing an excellent job of keeping this project moving forward. This will be a busy week of meetings, as we coordinate with contractors, officials, and potential new employees, as we work to get Prodigy Textiles up and running.”

Then July 12, 2018, signed the agreement with the local cooperative in Vietnam for Mulberry Production.

Then they announced the following PR:

Our team in Vietnam continues to put in an incredible amount of effort to bring this ground breaking project to reality.”

May 7, 2019 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Expands Production Footprint in Vietnam

Why the almost year gap between PR mentions? Hmm? As one can see the company was showing their progress during that time leading up to this May 7, 2019, PR.

What exactly was it that expanded their production footprint?

Let’s see what was missed first, then we’ll get to what expanded the production footprint.

Things missed…

July 31, 2018…farming-cooperatives-break-ground-in-vietnam

August 20, 2018…Kraig Biocraft Laboratories delivers ballistic shootpack panels to U.S. Army

Oct. 30, 2018…Kraig Biocraft Laboratories selects new high performance recombinant spider silk for delivery to US ARMY

ANN ARBOR, Mich., – October 30, 2018 –Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announces today that, working under its contract with the US ARMY (“Army”), it developed a strain of genetically engineered silkworms that better match the physical properties required for applications in protective textiles.

Tentatively called Dragon Silk 2.0; this new strain is the next evolution in the development of protective fibers, built upon the Company’s existing Dragon Silk, and is a further example of the Company’s ability to adapt and tailor the properties of its recombinant spider silk materials to meet end market performance requirements. Through the use of its fiber performance testing capabilities, paired with a select breeding program, the Company created a strain that is stronger, yet less elastic, than the original Dragon Silk.

Specifically created in response to input from the Army, based on requirements for antiballistic applications, this new strain of recombinant spider silk silkworms is the second phase of the Company’s development agreement with the Army. Kraig Labs delivered shootpack panels to the Army, earlier this summer, made of its original Dragon Silk material and those panels are awaiting testing.

“When the Army chose to award the second phase of this project we knew that we were given a great opportunity to prove the power of our technology and our approach using silkworms,” said COO, Jon Rice. “Today we’re thrilled to announce that our work was a success and that we now have a line of silkworms that produce a recombinant spider silk better matched for the demands of protective textile applications. We expect this new strain will play a critical role in our expansion and commercialization of spider silk far beyond the market for bullet proof vests.”

Over the next several months Kraig Labs plans to scale up the production of this new recombinant spider silk fiber at the Company’s domestic facility, in order to fulfil the second phase deliverables to the Army.

November 7, 2018…Kraig Biocraft Laboratories begins scale up of second generation Dragon Silk

ANN ARBOR, Mich., – November 7, 2018 –Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announces today that it has begun the scale up of its recently announced second generation Dragon Silk.

Consistent with the Company’s history of creating performance driven recombinant spider silk, this new material was specially designed at Kraig Labs’ Michigan research headquarters for application in protective textiles, where increased strength and decreased flexibility are expected to provide improved protection.

Scale up of Dragon Silk 2.0 is well underway, with the production team already raising tens of thousands of the new transgenic silkworms at the Company’s US based pilot production facility. Over the next 30 days, Kraig Labs anticipates scaling up production volumes of this new silkworm strain into the millions, as it prepares to create the first silk threads and fabrics made of this next generation recombinant spider silk.

Further, the Company is laying the groundwork to partner with experts in multicomponent thread design and spinning, to develop new specialty threads blending the performance spider silk with other traditional materials. This work is expected to develop threads and fabrics focused specifically on products for the performance wear and other closely linked market segments.

November 20, 2018…Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Signs Pivotal Agreement to Import and Rear Silkworms in Vietnam

ANN ARBOR, Mich., – November 20, 2018 –Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, announces today that it signed a key memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Biotechnology – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (“IoB-VAST”) and the Vietnam Sericulture Research Centre (“VSRC”) to import and rear its transgenic silkworms in Vietnam. This pivotal agreement provides a location, skilled workers, security, and necessary oversight, for the Company to import and begin testing its first batch of recombinant spider silk silkworm eggs in Vietnam.

Under this agreement, the VSRC will provide professional manpower for hatching, caring and nurturing of the silkworms, while IoB-VAST will provide a secure location to receive, store, and preserve the Company’s transgenic silkworms, in accordance with Vietnam’s regulations.

The previously reported authorizations, from key Vietnamese central government ministries, established guidelines for the importation of the Company’s transgenic silkworms. In addition to leveraging the expertise and capacities of IoB-VAST and VSRC, this agreement provides the structure and regulatory compliance to address those regulatory requirements.

The Company is now preparing to send key team members, including production staff, to accompany the first batch of transgenic silkworm eggs, on their trip from Kraig Labs’ US headquarters to Vietnam.
“We’re honored to work with the Institute of Biotechnology and the Vietnam Sericulture Research Center, undertaking work that we believe will revolutionize silk production and make significant impacts on consumer products,” said, CEO and Founder, Kim Thompson.

January 3, 2019…Kraig Biocraft Laboratories completes Final Facilities Review for First Batch of Recombinant Spider Silk Production in Vietnam

Working through an MOU, announced in November, the Company is collaborating with the Institute of Biotechnology – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (“IBT”) and Vietnam Sericulture Research Centre (“VSRC”) to rear and test the first ever recombinant spider silk silkworms in Vietnam. The Kraig Labs team, in partnership with its subsidiary, Prodigy Textiles Co Ltd., held a series of meetings with senior members of the IBT and the VSRC to outline the project requirements and to review the facilities selected to raise the first batch of transgenic silkworms.

The Kraig Labs team visited the IBT headquarters and brand new satellite location, where the team members reviewed IBT’s laboratory capabilities and discussed possible future collaborative research efforts.
The team also spent time at the VSRC headquarters reviewing their rearing processes, discussing the details of the Company’s transgenic silkworms, and outlining requirements for hatching the Company’s silkworms.

The Company’s technology is designed to work hand-in-glove with existing silk production infrastructure, of which and is why the Company focused its efforts in Vietnam because of the existing infrastructure and history of silk manufacturing, which would theoretically allow for very rapid expansion of production. With everything in place, Kraig Labs’ team believes that the Company is the verge of a major breakthrough in the commercialization of spider silk.

“The silk experts of the VSRC, working in partnership with members of our Prodigy Textiles team, will give our expansion in Vietnam a strong foundation,” said COO Jon Rice. “That expertise, combined with IBT’s facilities and capabilities, should pave the way to success, for this first of its kind effort, and translate into a smooth production scale up.”

It has been inferred that KBLB is being hyped or the CEO is selling snake oil as it is often stated, “DON'T BUY THE HYPE, OR THE SNAKE OIL.

This deep dive has proven the CEO is not selling hype nor snake oil. He has detailed EXACTLY what is going on with the company every painstakingly miniscule step forward that has been needed to get to the point the company’s at now.

The only writing that is on the wall, is the writing that showcases what it takes to build a sustainable company with proprietary tech for a never-before-commercialized product. There are no lies. There is no manipulation. Nothing is hidden and the market has reacted accordingly. The market should be thankful the price is still as low as it is so they can still scoop up shares “on the cheap!” Not for long! As the FACTS so obviously detail, this company is about to EXPLODE onto the scene. Failure to see and capitalize on that is not the company's fault.

Now I get wanting it all to happen sooner but it's not like the company hasn't laid it all out for all the world to see why it is still ongoing. Let's allow the process to continue and be happy together when we are finally rewarded.

Peace and prosperity to ALL! I'm out...
