I think NP feels kinda guilty, thats why he continuously puts on a good show to make it appear hes doing his job.

If NP actually felt guilty (BTW guilt and narcissism are pretty much mutually exclusive), and really cared about anyone but himself, he would have responded to the blatantly obvious reality by being the primary driver of handing the reigns to an experienced pro years ago!!
