No...they don't always go up.

Yes we all know the market appreciates over time inevitably. Doesn't mean any time is a good time to buy stock....or even a certain stock.

ARK lost 30% off the high. How did the buy any time and hold work for ARK investors? Now they just need 3 or 4 years of average appreciation to get back to even.

Your argument only holds water in a time frame longer than you life span for a cumulative index number...But people get washed out all the time.

You should be worried about inflation and valuations cause everyone else is. Everyone knows the market is setting the COST for everything, and the COST of things is what drives the economy, or impedes it.

Sure trends may be trendy, it's the "risk appetite" thing the FED mentions that is the rub.

If the FED gets gun shy, the algos will turn on you so fast your head will spin.

"Big money never loses"...again see ARK. They just lost a lot.
