Hey Think1st..

Already some good answers given (I just saw your post)..
but let me add to what was already said..

sometimes the MMs build up their inventory (sometimes anticipating a run?) or for whatever reason..

and we already know that they can control the stock price short term with low volume.. so if that is the situation and they (the MMs) want to sell this inventory (pressure the price lower).. to then load up at a lower price..

Imo that is one other possible scenario that could explain what you are describing.

I personally like Wake_Setter's post.. and the reminder to look at the beautiful GRST one year chart..

I'm hopeful that he is right.. and that even though there is going to be the "normal" games played here (some like to say in order "to make a market":).. that we don't find ourselves (fingers crossed) in a situation where we are in a stock that is overly manipulated.

Btw.. I know a 3 million share buy might be significant to you or me:).. but it is peanuts to the big boys.. and I know several shareholders who own more than the recent daily volume of the stock.

With that said, the MMs could easily have millions of shares in their inventory at any given time.

Its always nice to see a stock move on simple supply and demand (more buying pressure stock goes up, more selling pressure stock goes down)..

I personally think it will just take more volume (with the right news) to over come some of the "supply" so that normal market forces can move the stock up.

IF the MMs want to help in moving the stock (in the right direction:) in anticipation of the news and/or more buying pressure comes in on that anticipation we might see a move before the news.

Anyway.. thats how I see it.

This is my opinion.. please do your own DD.. this is not investment advice.. I simply try to find the best companies to put my
money.. and I post on boards where I either have an interest in the stock or own shares.
