I would like to assume that as well, but I no longer make assumptions when it comes to this ticker.

For example, all Waldman has to say is “the float is x,xxx,xxx as of xx/xx/xxxx”

That way there is no second guessing anything. It would be easy for Waldman to do that, assuming they truly want to be transparent of course.
