Schwab is a longstanding reputable brokerage and financial firm. They treat and serve their clients respectfully. However, their transaction platform was not too good and I used my Scottrade account until T.D. Ameritrade bought them.
The on-line method with shady firms can be a great disadvantage to their clients. Because on line can be easily abused and manipulated by brokerage firms. Without ethical and high standards, such firms can not be trusted. Money is the most important for us, and when trust is lost, they can do mischief abusing any reason to take advantage of them. Sad.
Reliable, safe and highest standards and courtesy are a must with any financial firm.
Happy to see them go. Looking forward to see Schwab take over.
