I respectfully disagree with you.
The cell phone calls were MUCH more than 'a bit much'.
None of us know how many emails and phonecalls they're getting, NONE of us. And I'll bet my bottom dollar, that it is the same repetitious questions over and over again, 100s of times a day.
So in order to answer all our questions at the same time, they hold a conference call and ANSWER our questions. They issue PRs to give us the news, and ANSWER questions. They email us, AND answer questions.
So, in my opinion, there is NO need for constant harrassing by shareholders who only have to read the PRs, read the emails that DID get answered, yet for some, it seems they need daily patting on the head with the same answers to the same questions, over and over again. Enough!
And I don't think his 'retort' points to a child. It points to a CEO that has had ENOUGH. It points to a CEO that has his CFO's privacy INVADED. It points to a CEO who is trying to protect his crew, and to one who would like to be given some space AFTER answering ALL our questions, to grow his co.
