Re The Seeking Alpha article...

At first glance this appears to be a typical SA hatchet job, but careful examination indicates the hatchet is not very sharp and BNGO's illness is more like Acne and not cancer..'

The major thrust of the SA article is that BNGO's revenues are not that impressive at present...This of course is no surprise in medicine..The oath reminds all clinicians that experiment is perilous. My professors at HMS always warned us that we should never be the first in our area to adopt new technology..

The SA article notes BNGO has counterfeited its revenues by issuing secondary's that dilute shareholders. And have sugar coated its predictions of sales of equipment. What the article down plays is that BNGO's superior technology...Put simply it's optical system can do things the gene sequencers can not...These include identifying neonatal genetic pr0blems, proclivity to cancer and even whether or not a patient will have a serious case of CV-19...

The paper also notes that BNGO has not been FDA approved for treatment but only for diagnosis. And many insurance plans will not cover treatments that lack FDA approval...Medical devices are not subject to the rigors of the FDA drug marketing process and approvals are largely based on safety issues. And as such the approval time is only a fraction of the three phases that drugs must survive..

Yes Saphyr is the new kid on the block... But make no mistake..Saphyr is better in many ways a is definitely the future...
