Signet Working with Belgium Non-profit Sirris to Develop deIce477™

Signet VP and Chief Engineer, Bradley Nelson, has submitted test samples of Signet’s patented deIce477™ to Sirris for comparative environmental testing of the product. The Belgium-based Sirris is the collective center for and by technological industries and a portal to an extensive network of high-tech partners throughout Europe. DeIce477™ is Signet’s 3D graphene foam composite product designed to deice aircraft and wind turbines with superior deicing efficiency.

Mr. Nelson has been working with his counterparts at Sirris over the winter in testing the effectiveness deIce477™. The energy efficient, environmentally friendly deIce477™ is a highly thermal and electrically conductive, mechanically strong, chemically stable and lightweight composite that possesses high efficiency current induced deicing capability.
