I confess that I have owned Dor Biopharma for over a year in my Roth account. I've always considered it extremely speculative, so I rarely, if ever publicized my ownership. However, I wouldn't consider any attempt by CTIC to take over DORB as validation of DORB's product, or a harbinger of the FDA's decision. All it is, IMO, is a desperate attempt to acquire a product that has a decent chance of getting approved. CTIC has probably only seen the same data that DORB has released publically. I'd say that an accurate analogy for this attempted takeover would be:

CTIC, slowly sinking in quicksand, desperately reaching out to grasp a swinging vine that may or may not be in reach, and may or may not be sturdy enough to support CTIC's bloated, dying weight.
