Shocking when Buffett pointed out that of the 20 largest publicly owned firms in 1989, many were Japanese... and none still ranked in the top 20!

I've noticed that every year, for the past few years, Buffett seems to endorse S&P 500 Index funds more enthusiastically, and in the last year, BRK bought some.

That was the first I ever sat thru the entire BRK SHM.
