Sorry to disappoint you but you can absolutely compare the two. Sinopec basically bought Addax for $8 billion for their JDZ rights and immediately spent $500 million to drill 5 wells. Sinopec wanted Erhe rights to the JDZ and wanted to purchase Erhe in tandem with Addax at that same time documented in the same news articles with the Addax purchase but couldn’t meet SEO’s price Same scenario with the EEZ. Majors Shell, BP and Total are fired up to drill there. Kosmos energy has set the price litigated on block 4EEZ that Erhe owns 100% rights at $500 million alone!!! Hope this helps the confusion.
