Today, 400.000,- new cases of infection (in 24H). If we keep the same standards as for western countries (and we should not because it is currently well know that the Indian COVID-19 variation is the most aggressive in proliferation and the one that makes you the most sick of all), then 1% end up on respiration.

That means 4000 respiration devices PER day needed for periods between 4 to 12 weeks usage per patient. As we all saw on the news, people are getting artificial respiration (amateurish, but it is all they have) in the back of their cars and just die on there with their children helping them, where the Oxygen is sold. And of course Oxygen is EXPENSIVE now in India!

Humanigen's drug is therefor a strategic weapon in this war against COVID but there will be a need of international financial aid to help them.
