Any information that is not part of a news release or public statement is by its very nature ‘non-public’. If he tells anyone anything that is not contained in a public article or news release or analyst release, like say, the status of his current negotiations, that is something that can not be shared unless that same information is released somewhere in the public domain as it provides advantage to a select few. I worked for one of the largest institutional banks on the globe for 30 years and we had to take courses on this every 3 months. So the idea of people calling Ward for info is not the way public information should be disseminated. I can’t see how anyone disagrees with that. I assume that anything they are told is stuff we already know in the public domain so what’s the point of calling him?
