Historically in OTC, when a CEO has to go-away under the circumstances similar to NPHC... what happens?

Hypothetically, since I like hypotheticals, do tickers merge into other companies?

IDK if there's any precedent for this kind of failure. A Pink with a verifiably real product, lab, patents... yet still overpromise and not deliver.
