Eating right, exercise, etc....Americans are overweight!
Except the Covid virus doesn't care. True some of the Covid sob stories have pictures of piggies. But that doesn't mean the Covid virus can not infect, and damage the healthy.
Are all 65-80 yr olds unhealthy? A LDLcalc/HDL = 0.83 with 1/2 risk of arterio-coronary disease doesn't sound too unhealthy. No viral infections for the past 18 yrs seems to indicate the immune system is still intact. But the Covid virus doesn't care. Before the vaccine it was ravaging the elderly.
Nothing wrong with "eating right". But the Covid virus just doesn't care. In fact most viruses prefer healthy people with healthy cells to infect.
