I live in Rhode Island, I first noticed MedRecycle when it was going to move in a building at the Central Landfill, I thought this would be a good process to dispose of medical waste, I bought shares and told some friends who also bought.

The deal with the building owner fell thru, hence the relocation to West Warwick.

Ironically my wife worked at the building adjacent to where MedRecycle is in, the complex was being rented by MetLife, they have since moved.

There are 3 Industrial Parks in the area with easy access to Route I95.

Within a mile of the facility is Johnson & Wales and a Golf Course, probably another 2 to 3 miles starts East Greenwich and plats of houses, I don't see the fuss over MedRecycle, once the trucks exit I95 its a short drive to the facility and will come no where near houses.

East Greenwich is a small conservative town with that 'not in my back yard mentality', I seem to think DEM has down their homework, as far as the Governor and AG are concerned they are pandering to the vocal minority.

I like our chances for a permit !!!
