Investors believe Leronlimab is special. They believe that statistics don't apply to Leronlimab, that it's going to upend the pharma industry, that it's on par with the polio vaccine, that it's the greatest breakthrough in modern medicine since the human genome project. There's no historical precedent for any of the long theories because they don't need one. They believe, completely, that leronlimab defies all previous drug discovery pathways. Just listen to Nader, he's constantly talking about how fast it's been getting to market. Except, it's not at market, so his little impressive timetable means nothing. But longs believe Leronlimab will be a drug approved based on emails to congressmen, to a subgroup of a subgroup analysis, and that for whatever reason a third world country is going to pressure the US to save face. It's crazy. The long thesis in CYDY is absolutely insane. It's grounded on nothing but leronlimab being a magical drug that is a class of its own.

And that's why the rallying cry 'trust the science' is so misguided. It assumes that nothing surrounding the drug, lack of funding, bad management, questionable covid result, etc will get in the way of the science. In reality, leronlimab has okay science, not groundbreaking, but probably good enough for another HIV treatment. So when they say trust the science, what they are saying is that a drug with a pretty good track record against HIV will become the company in and of itself. Again, it's insane.
