My only brokerage account is also a ROTH IRA (and my 401(k) plan has more than 99.5% of its contributions as ROTH contributions). Biden's recent federal income tax and capital gains tax proposals under consideration have me concerned about their potential impact on the economy (and about their fairness), though they won't effect me directly. I am not familiar with Warren and Bernie's tax proposals made since early 2020. A tax on all speculative trades might be a good idea, but it depends on how "speculative" is defined and how much the tax on such trades would be.
