After too many payrolls being missed, my spouse gave up and resigned from mCloud along with other senior technical resources. There was a general lack of trust and not being paid, in what mCloud called, a "Payroll Deferral". The payroll deferral took up 2 consecutive payroll periods very close to Christmas 2020. (factcheck, I have it in an email). This was followed by many other late or non-payments of expected payroll. Of note, there is no such thing as payroll deferral. It is illegal not to pay employees in Canada. Their CFO should know better than that under her Code of Conduct. (I checked with her Professional Association). They are getting CEWS (you can factcheck this on the gov website). How are our tax dollars through CEWS being used? I think this needs to be investigated by the CRA.
