Here are the actual numbers:

Serious adverse events:

Placebo oral rinse 5/30 (16.67%)
Brilacidin oral rinse: 8/29 (27.59%)

Other Adverse Events (not including SAE):

Placebo oral rinse: 30/30
Brilacidin oral rinse: 29/29

Note that 100% of placebo patients suffered from Adverse Events.

A better understanding of the clinical condition might lend perspective to both serious and non-serious Adverse events.
