I had written a similar message already today, but then deleted again.
Now let me add a few words, although your post# 38660 already says it all:

Relief Therapeutics Caught in ‘Culture Mismatch’ in Partnership between Swiss and American Business Leaders

The "cultural mismatch" is actually a contradicting relationship of:
1) the Swiss company Relief, which - typically European - entered into a business relationship very precisely and with exaggerated caution, and
2) the US company NeuroRx, which immediately recognized the potential opportunities that could be expected.
Usually Europeans look for an investor for a good idea/patent in the USA because no investor can be found in Europe, if not at least the beginnings of a success were to be seen.
In this case, Europeans were looking for an equivalent marketing partner. It's possible that in the first place an US company only was an option for them to bring Aviptadil onto the market from the outset. They took the responsibility over the investments necessary and viewed NeuroRx as a contractor furthermore..
The order should be fulfilled, among other things, by obtaining an EUA and NeuroRx was promised to participate in the future profit.
.... and while Relief saw their project in "good hands", NeuroRx set new standards and took over the direction. When NeuroRx found a new investor in Big Rock Partners Acquisition the disagreements started .....
.....and that has nothing to do with "cultural differences" anymore. This is brutal business how it happens every where, every day.
The question remains open in connection with BRPA: Who was first ? The hen or the egg? (You know what I mean ?)
But there is no question who owns the patent!
