And how does this end with school children? We're not prepared to vaccinate them and parents will be very hesitant to do so when it's available.

Many school children will get vaccinated. You do realize that there are requirements for various vaccines before kids are allowed in school, right?

Two of my grandchilden get on a school bus on Monday and Wednesday and attend full classroom education. On Tuesday they stay home and do homework. On Thursday and Friday they have on-line classes.

Good for them. They might be lucky and live in an area with low viral levels, be on busses with low ridership and attend rich schools with very small class sizes. One size doesn't fit all.
