How about the numerous employees who made sure we had our drugs, food, transportation, fuel etc. etc.

No excuses, the teachers acted like spoiled brats because they had no economic reason except to find excuses. The private and catholic schools in my area had no problems getting the ball rolling.

There is a world of difference between sitting in a small classroom with kids who aren't going to practice social distancing or proper hygiene because they are freaking kids and those with limited contact for a short period of time with adults who must social distance and wear masks. In case you haven't noticed, kids are rapid disease spreaders.

Yeah, I know some private schools in my area that have opened. They have very small class sizes and large budgets to keep everything clean and safe, including providing proper PPE to students, teachers and support staff. Public schools aren't set up that way with small class sizes and budgets to accommodate safety.

The point you are unwilling or unable to see is that distance learning at least partially compensated for not being in classrooms. People also avoided shopping by getting deliveries or working online. Are you going to attack them for not going to the stores in person or not going to work in person?

Why didn't you volunteer to work as an in person teacher, as store clerk, work in mass transit? If you aren't qualified, go work in a Covid-19 ward sweeping floors or in the morgue. Then you can talk and attack others.
