Many semi-retired nurses quit for good rather than risk death from Covid. They did sign up to help others, but not to throw their lives away in the process.

Likewise for teachers, who are not given protective equipment nor a regular routine of sanitizing everything possible.

In addition, nurses are trained in sanitary practices and how to recognize and avoid the risk of infection.

Teachers are not, and it is too much to expect elementary school students, or children in general to practice good hygiene all the time.
