The "GOLD" Berkshire Hathaway INC. 2020 ANNUAL REPORT identified a few good known facts and possibly one under tone conversation.

1). (Page #6). 80,998 "A" shares repurchased ($24.7 billion). Remaining O/S Class A common is 640,586.

2). (Page # k-30). 31,126,600 "B" shares repurchased. Remaining S/O Class B common 1,336,348,609.


So Berkshire is indeed repurchasing and retiring A & B shares!


3). (Page # 11). Berkshire identifies "Ownership of Berkshire now resides in five large "Buckets"

Focusing on Bucket #5 (Page # 12).

"ALL of that said, Charlie and I would be less than human if we did feel a "Special Kinship" with our 5th bucket: the million-plus "individual investors who simply trust us to represent their interests, whatever the future may bring. They have joined us with no intent to leave, adopting a mindset similar to that held by "our original partners". Indeed, many investors from our partnership years, and/or their dependents, remain "substantial owners of Berkshire".

4). (Page # 14). "Let me tell you about one of (Berkshire Hathaway Energy) BHE's endeavors - its $18 billion commitment to rework and expand a substantial portion of the "outdated grid" that "NOW" transmits electricity "THROUGHOUT" the West. BHE began this project in 2006 and expects it to be completed by 2030 - yes, 2030.

Very few companies or governmental entities, however, were in a financial position to raise their hand after they tallied the projects costs. "BHE will be the leader in developing ever-cleaner energy". We are today searching for other projects of similar size to take on.

(BHE pays no dividend in it's common stock, but does so through increasing its per share value).

5). This leads to the "Under Tone Conversation" from Warren and Charlie from a few years ago, and maybe a hint in this shareholders annual report with regards to the current and continued BHE projects.

A few years ago a shareholder asked Warren & Charlie about a future issuance of a new "Class "C" Stock". Warren took the question and he replied; yes, me and Charlie have been considering that, and that could possibly happen sometime down the road.

In my opinion, we are going "BIGGER" than ever before! Warren and Charlie loves the "Individual Investors" contrary to other opinions ; )
