Amazon's Choice is a label given to a product when Amazon believes it is the best match for a specific keyword. So it's just an algorithm that sets the tag based on the relevancy of the user's search keywords. So if you look up a direct brand in the search, the brand will basically always get the label, because obviously that's going to be the most relevant keyword for the users query. You don't have to be a genius to figure that one out.
