APBH news....Americana Publishing, Inc. Says Company's Potential Biggest-Selling Title In Final Stages Of Manuscript Development
Greatly Anticipated Book Features Addiction Expert's Battle To Overcome 3 Powerful Addictions
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct 24, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
Americana Publishing, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: APBH) today said it is in the final stages of manuscript development for the long-anticipated book "Hiding Under The Table," by addiction guru Dennis Henning. The book, which Americana will publish in both print and audio, recounts Henning's grueling battle with three powerful addictions, food, sex and gambling.
"Clearly, this is one of the most intriguing projects we've ever worked on at Americana Publishing," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer George Lovato. "I've had a chance to review the initial manuscript and this is truly a compelling story of one person's successful battle against not one, but three powerful additions."
Lovato said the Company anticipates the book to be released in the first quarter of 2004 and because of the subject matter and the notoriety of the author, he expects it could be a leading-selling title.
"What we're particularly excited about is the marketability of Dennis on the national talk show circuit," said Lovato. "He's come to be known as one of the pre-eminent solution providers to those three addictions and is highly respected by his peers. We're also hoping this will have a profound effect on many people suffering from similar addictions."
Americana Publishing, Inc. is an up-and-coming leader in the nearly $2 billion audio books industry.
