I could do with less really bad winter weather tho, this winter hit the Tri-State area pretty hard soon after I left, my fam still has a lake house there on a private road and while it's pretty to see like Currier & Ives it was virtually impassable for a while... worried the pipes & docks would freeze over but everything survived except a huge tree toppled onto the deck. Always something - here we have huge fires but no big quakes lately. Can't take the good for granted.

Ironically I only started skiing after moving to SoCal, there are mountains as close as 1 -1 1/2 hours away or 5 hrs. drive to big slopes at Mammoth. Maybe it's more a novelty here. Enjoy Spring, April-May there are maybe my fave months. Well, Except for July-Aug. LOL. The fall harvest & leaves aren't too bad either...

The Three-ring circus Barnum & Bailey aren't performing any more but we have our own to look forward to, 4-5 rings maybe. GL All
