I was thinking the exact same thing. I believe besides the sector this was a planned attack by hedge funds knowing we would have to be rebalanced to short us and that is why we have the suits, which are more unsettling to most investors than the actual accounting change. They have banked millions off of this garbage. Makes sense also all the paid short attacks.
