Let me add to your analogies:

If you are walking down the street and you see a young man beating an old women to steal her money; would you try to stop him?

I would like to think I would. Ironically, the only tickers on which I post are tickers on which I am long.

If I see pumpers trying to steal money from children and old women I will call them out. As much for fun as for principle.
