As time passes and more and more people get vaccinated, the country appears to be “opening up” and getting back to normal. Yes, it may take several months, but the writing is on the wall. What does this mean to Bioreference Lab? MUCH less testing, MUCH less revenues. Bio Lab can have all the contracts in the world, but if very few people are tested, the contracts don’t mean a thing. My guess is that the payments for the contracts are based on the number of tests done and there is no guarantee of a minimum payment. Therefore, Bio Lab’s future revenues should dramatically DECREASE. Who needs to be tested once most are vaccinated and cases drop dramatically? The bubble is busted and no longer needed.

Based on the about analysis, I sold all of my core position in Opko, but kept my options (expires 1/21/2022) so I will continue to follow but not as close.
