Fin, big bite for Apple, not so much for pc world

The important thing for Apple is the trend which ought to scare the hell out of the Windoze pc makers bigtime, if not Mr. Softee. The computer market share, plus Apple's ventures elsewhere, music, phone, TV- all with mutually re-inforcing synergy writ large on them- clearly have gotten their attention.

I like today's numbers a lot, and I believe the market will too after it gets over the fact that Apple didn't stomp on fantasy numbers that the analysts generated gratuitously. That's the bizarro nature of the street lately, analysts and talking heads throwing out numbers for what they expect without any necessary connection to any reality, and then punishing a company who doesn't meet those freakin numbers. Apple actually exceeded its own estimates substantially, just not the whisper numbers etc.
