There are some countries in this world that do not allow short selling.. the list is pretty long.. I believe short selling should be allowed in the area of options trading... but that’s it... imagine if you were allowed to naked short sell the major indexETF,s and do that trade every day and never have to cover ... you would be a trillionaire
