This is not accurate at all. It does not take into account the borrowing of shares so a MM can make a trade for the customer they serve. They borrow shares to make a trade and cover them within minutes so not really a " short sale" Also retail cannot short these stocks in case people didn't know. Most " free" things are worth what you paid for them when it comes to market " information".
