Thank you doinit, but "gross profit" has a very specific meaning.

Sales less "cost of sales"

After that you have all the operating expenses, including depreciation and depletion, if any, before arriving at net income or loss.

Gross Profit tells very little and if that is all the financials have to offer, it is very little and can be very misleading.
