I don't think it's the MMs, I think it's the traders/investors/whatever-ya-wanna-call-ems, I think it's a bunch of retail traders and wherever they put their buys and sells is where the MMs take it (or at least how the L2 shows it so you Think it's the MMs)

Nothing has changed to make me think the MMs are inventorying or otherwise trading this between themselves. Someone puts in a buy, they put it on the bid to find a seller OR ...someone puts in a sell it goes on the Ask to find a buyer. IF no matches found, then no volume traded.
